Terms of Service

These terms apply to every Shopify store that installs ReorderPilot ("the app"). By installing or using the app, the store ("you", "merchant") agrees to them, including the data processing terms in section 4. Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms.

1. The service

ReorderPilot reads your products, inventory and order quantities from Shopify to estimate sales velocity, stock-out dates and reorder quantities, and lets you manage suppliers and purchase orders. On the Pro plan it can add received purchase-order quantities to your Shopify inventory when you choose to receive an order.

Forecasts and suggestions are estimates based on your past sales and the settings you enter. You decide what to order and remain responsible for your purchasing and stock decisions.

2. Plans and billing

The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans (Growth and Pro) are billed through Shopify every 30 days after a 14-day free trial and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan in the app at any time; cancelling moves you to the Free plan. Uninstalling the app cancels any subscription. Charges are handled by Shopify under Shopify's billing terms.

3. Acceptable use

Use the app only for your own store and in line with Shopify's Terms of Service. Do not attempt to access other stores' data, disrupt the service or reverse-engineer it.

4. Data processing

For the personal data the app processes on your behalf, you are the controller and ReorderPilot is the processor. We:

• Process only what is needed. From orders we read only line-item quantities per product variant for the last 60 days. We do not request or store customer names, emails, phone numbers, addresses or payment details, and we store only per-variant sales totals.
• Use data only to provide the app to you (forecasts, reorder suggestions, purchase orders and inventory receiving) and never sell it, share it with third parties or use it for advertising.
• Keep it secure. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest; Shopify access tokens are additionally encrypted. Access is limited to what is required to operate the service.
• Keep it only as long as needed. The sales snapshot is replaced on every sync and covers at most 60 days. When you uninstall, your access token is deleted immediately and all remaining store data is permanently deleted when Shopify sends the shop/redact request, 48 hours later.
• Support your obligations. We respond to Shopify's customer data request and redaction webhooks and will help you answer data protection requests. Contact us at the address below.
• Use sub-processors only to run the service: Shopify (data source and billing) and Render (hosting, data centre in Frankfurt, Germany).

5. Availability and liability

We work to keep the app available and accurate but provide it "as is", without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the fees you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.

6. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and material changes will be announced in the app. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
