Getting started

  1. Open ReorderPilot from Apps in your Shopify admin. It reads your products, stock and the last 60 days of sales; this takes about a minute.
  2. In Settings, check your default lead time, safety stock and how many days each order should cover.
  3. Add your suppliers with their lead times, then use Edit on a product to assign its supplier, minimum order quantity and case pack.
  4. On the Reorder planner, click Create purchase orders to get one draft per supplier (Growth and Pro).

How are reorder suggestions calculated?

ReorderPilot measures daily sales from the last 7, 30 and 60 days (recent days count more). The reorder point is daily sales × (lead time + safety days). When available + incoming stock + units on open purchase orders falls to that point, it suggests enough units to cover lead time, safety stock and your coverage period, rounded up to the supplier's minimum order quantity and case pack.

Why does a product show "No recent sales"?

It had no sales in the selected history window, so there is nothing to forecast. Products that are not inventory-tracked in Shopify show "Not tracked".

How often is data refreshed?

Automatically every 12 hours. Click Refresh data in the app to update immediately.

What happens when I receive a purchase order?

On the Pro plan, received quantities are added to the selected location's available stock in Shopify. On other plans you can mark the order as received and update stock in Shopify yourself.

Can I use it after Stocky?

Yes. Add your suppliers and their lead times, assign them to products from the Reorder planner, and create purchase orders from the suggestions.
